On August 9th, our financial coordinator, Shaun Mullaly, recevied an email that at first glance appeared to be from company president, Dave DelVecchio, but with simple inspection, was found to be a spear-phishing attempt.
Community Enterprises is a name many people know as an organization who provides supported employment, education, and living services to people with disabilities. Working closely with families, employers and the greater community, CE works to create a wide range of services that help their clients live, learn, work and thrive independently throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Oklahoma. Effective July of this year, Community Enterprises and Human Resources Unlimited have joined forces to form Viability.
Each year, Community Enterprises, and now Viability, hosts the Karen Lachapelle Memorial Golf Classic. Proceeds benefit Karen's Fund, a recreation and wellness program for people with disabilities. Golfers from everywhere and of all skill levels come together to support a great cause and enjoy a day of great golf, great food, and great prizes! This year's tournament will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Southampton Country Club. Please visit the tournament web page
for more information.
