IBS Case Study of Integrated Financial Partners

Case Study - The implementation of IBS software for Integrated Financial Partners
by Brian Scanlon

IBS performed a detailed analysis of the information that would be feeding the system.  We developed an import procedure that could read the electronic reports (approximately 17,000 lines per month) from a text file and generate a database of the information.  We also developed a user interface that allowed for manual entry of other information that needed to be captured in the system, and worked with the customer to develop a series of “canned” reports they would need for the management of this aspect of their business.

After implementation, the process that took 80 hours of labor per month was reduced to one day!   As a bonus, a historical reference was created which allowed them to generate a variety of reports useful for reviewing advisor performance and payouts.   IFP estimated the labor cost to perform this function before IBS streamlined the function was over $30,000 annually.  IBS cost to date for system development and implementation was only $5,595!
